D-day
Today is the 64th anniversary of D-day, or when the Allied forces invaded through Normandy. It is such an unbelievable moment in our nations history. It saddens to me to realize that those heroes will someday not be here to tell their stories. It just stresses the importance of listening now, and learn as much as we can before lose the chance. Let's hope that we learn from our history.

I guess I should learn more about the day that is honored on the same day as my birth...we'll have to have a learnin' sesh one of these days!
